Residents and guests of the Tambov region will have a rich program for the Day of National Unity
Residents and guests of the Tambov region are waiting for a rich program for the Day of National Unity. Festive concerts, exhibitions, sports competitions and educational events will be held both in Tambov and in all municipal districts of the region.
The events will start on October 29. On this day, the Tambov Drama Theatre will host a concert “Three Voices of One Land”, dedicated to the cultural traditions of the Russian, Mordovian and Tatar peoples. It will be the final event of the project “From Origins to Unity”. The next day, scientists, historians, ethnographers and representatives of national associations will gather at the conference “Historical Unity and Common Future”.
On October 31, Muchkapsky municipal district will host the XIII regional athletics marathon “Muchkap – Shapkino – Lyubo!”. Participants will be able to choose the classic marathon distance, half marathon or 10 kilometers. On the same day and November 3, cultural institutions of the region will join the annual action “Night of the Arts”.
On November 3, the Tambov Regional Museum of Local Lore will present a musical and historical program “In unity the power of the people”, dedicated to the multinationality of Russia and the traditions of the peoples of the region. From 3 to 6 November, the youth forum “Friendship of Peoples – 2026” will be held at the Cosmos Center, which will bring together more than a hundred young people, including foreign students of Tambov universities.
The central event on November 4 will be the V Martial Arts Festival in the Tambov Sports and Training Center, dedicated to the memory of soldiers who gave their lives for their Motherland.
The series of events will end on November 5 and 6: the XI International Educational Action “Big Ethnographic Dictation” will be held in Tambov. This year, it will be possible to check the knowledge about the history and culture of the peoples of Russia only in person - at four sites of the regional center.
