Putin launches gasification of three villages in Tsumadin district of Dagestan

In the videoconference mode, Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the connection of new facilities to gas in a number of regions. Dagestan is among them. Blue fuel came immediately to three high-mountain villages of the Tsumadin district - Richaganikh, Tsumada-Urukh and Upper Gakvari.

The republic is actively implementing a social gasification program. In the first six months of 2026, owners of 1,500 households received the opportunity to connect to gas - more than one and a half times more than in the same period last year. The work is also carried out in remote mountain areas.
