Subsequently, another criminal case was opened against the Minsk citizen. He did not admit guilt in court.
- The accused was employed under a contract as a cleaner in a private organization, in March 2023 he was already brought to criminal responsibility for committing a similar crime, said Margarita Potemkina, senior assistant prosecutor of the Pervomaysky district, who acted as a state prosecutor in this criminal case. In both cases, criminal proceedings were initiated by the district prosecutor, since the victim each time forgave the partner and refused to bring him to justice. Moreover, she is currently pregnant with him.
The court found a citizen guilty of threatening to kill, if there were grounds to fear its implementation, and on the basis of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code imposed a punishment of one year of restriction of freedom without sending to an open-type correctional institution. The accused must also undergo compulsory treatment for chronic alcoholism.
