Work on clearing the Lomovka riverbed in the Nizhnelomovsk district, scheduled for 2026, is planned to be completed by November. The process is ahead of schedule. There are no comments on quality - neither to the construction of temporary roads, nor to the disposal of waste at the MSW landfill in Kamenka, nor to the operation of the dredger and the transportation of seized bottom soil.
The state of water bodies in the region pay special attention. In previous years, the riverbed of the Inra in Chemodanovka and the pond at the 6th city hospital of Penza were put in order.
I am glad that every year more and more residents of the Penza region join the Water of Russia campaign to clean the banks. Over three years, the number of participants in the region has increased by one and a half times, and the length of the cleaned coastline has doubled.
To date, more than 170 events have been held within the framework of the Water of Russia, in which more than 5 thousand people participated. 150 km of shores of water bodies were cleared, from where more than 400 cubic meters of garbage were removed.
