The number of foreign workers in the Tula region

The number of visitors officially working in the Tula region reached 35 thousand people. This information is provided by the regional Ministry of Economic Development. A year ago, there were 34.2 thousand, and in 2024 - 31.6 thousand.

The bulk of foreigners work in manufacturing industries - about every third, or 11.3 thousand people.

Another 7.6 thousand are employed in private households, and 6.2 thousand – in the construction of the region.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development, in the coming years the inflow of foreign labor into the region will gradually decrease. Federal authorities continue to reduce quotas for temporary residence of foreigners.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the Kimovsky district court on October 14 will consider an administrative case against individual entrepreneur Babayan A.M. under part 1 of article 18.15 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation – for attracting a foreigner to work. According to the materials of the case, on October 2, during a preventive raid, police found a migrant who worked without a patent to repair the roof of an apartment building, and fined him 2,000 rubles under part 1 of Article 18.10 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
