The Braslav Lakes National Park announced the completion of work on the draft national park management plan for 2027-2036. It's reported by sb.by.

The Environmental Protection Agency informed:
- From October 6 to November 7, a public discussion will be held on the draft Management Plan for the Braslav Lakes National Park for 2027-2036. All interested citizens and representatives of public organizations are invited to it. The management plan was prepared by the Belarusian State University.
The objectives of the management plan are the preservation and maintenance of the unique natural complex of the national park as a standard of natural landscapes and a repository of the genetic fund of the flora and fauna of the Belarusian Poozer region, the development of scientific research of natural ecosystems and the historical and cultural heritage of the park, the development of recreational and tourist activities, ecological and green tourism, the dissemination of information and knowledge about the national park, the formation of ecological consciousness and careful attitude to nature among local residents and visitors.
- The term of the management plan is 10 years, with updating in 5 years - in 2031, the experts specified.
