A rare mandarin duck in a luxurious outfit visited St. Petersburg

According to the biologist, its plumage is reminiscent of the outfit of the Chinese nobleman-mandarin. Attention is attracted not only by the appearance, but also by the voice: instead of the usual quack, the bird quietly whistles or squeals.
In Russia, this species is listed in the Red Book and lives only in the Far East. But even to the cultural capital sometimes fly, though not for long. However, even during this short time, unique birds collect enthusiastic views not only from St. Petersburg, but also from local ducks.
