Purple saffron flowers with white yawn and purple veins are especially expressive: they bloom in September-November, when most plants are already preparing for winter. Mount Sober-Bash is one of the few places in the Krasnodar Territory where saffron has been preserved not by individual specimens, but by large communities.
The plant was recorded by employees of the GKU KK "Management of protected areas KK" during the next patrol. It is worth remembering that beautiful saffron is listed in the Red Books of Russia, Krasnodar Territory and Adygea. Due to harvesting for spice and active tourism, the population of the species has suffered greatly in past years.
