Record suffering: almost 500 crews and 350 drivers took the thousandth milestone in the Gomel region

The provision of specialists in the farms of the Gomel region today is 85 percent, and with working personnel - 89 percent. The main factor in the successful completion of the harvesting campaign was the high level of labor, the cohesion of family dynasties and the help of volunteers from various fields. About the personnel potential of the agricultural sector, attracting a young shift and the names of the leaders of the suffering in an exclusive interview with sb.by told the Chairman of the Gomel regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko.

Immediately 493 crews harvesters took the coveted bar of 1000 tons of grain, including 41 youth. The boundary of 2,000 tons was subdued by 69 crews, and 3,000 tons by five tandems of advanced fighters. The absolute leader of the region was Alexander Tishchenko from the Buda-Koshelevsky RUE "Belorusneft-Osobino", threshing 3,663.91 tons. On the transportation of grain from harvesters, 350 drivers crossed the thousandth line, 128 became “two thousanders”, 33 – “three thousanders”, and two drivers conquered the bar of 4 thousand tons, and one of these landmark records belongs to a woman.

At the time of intense suffering, 415 people of various professions were substituted for professional grain growers - from factory workers, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and law enforcement agencies to teachers and educators. A special contribution to the overall result was made by youth crews and student detachments working on grain flows and harvesting fruits and vegetables.

- The main reserve is the people who work on the ground. Where technological discipline and order are observed, there will inevitably be a return. The whole country learned the name of 20-year-old Victoria Poznyak - the teacher of the extended day group, which was the first among the female drivers to transport first two, and then more than 4,000 tons of grain, setting a national record! For the ninth season in a row, his vacation in the cab of the Otor combine harvester of Chechersky district is conducted by a physical education teacher Dmitry Mikhailov, he said.

According to the chairman of the regional executive committee, about 700 young specialists come to the region annually for distribution:

- The largest number of them works in Gomel, Buda-Koshelevsky, Zhlobinsky, Mozyr and Rechitsky districts. It is from this young shift that we expect fresh ideas, breakthrough approaches and high economic returns. Our main bet - on the fusion of grain growing experience and active young energy - this season was fully justified, bringing Gomel region a historic result of 1.15 million.
