The repair of the road from Orel to Ephraim is coming to an end

In the Orel region in the Zalegoschensky district, the repair of the section of the regional road Orel - Efremov is being completed. The length of the updated section is 5 kilometers 500 meters.

As told in the regional Department of road management in his group in the social network Vkontakte, in the course of the work, the specialists of the contractor carried out a set of measures to bring the road to a regulatory state. They have already done: dismantled the old canvas; laid two layers of gravel base and two layers of road clothing; reinforced roadsides, restored exits and adjoining; installed side stones in the drainage areas.

In addition, the builders paid special attention to road infrastructure: they completely restored the stop pavilion and landscaped the surrounding area.

Now specialists are equipping road safety elements: it is necessary to apply 17,664 linear meters of road markings, install nine road signs and 87 signal columns.

After completion of all work, the object will be inspected by the admissions committee. In accordance with the regulations, the road will be put into operation. By the way, it is being updated as part of the implementation of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.

We add that the Orel-Efremov road is an important element of the support network of roads in the Orel region. It provides transport accessibility to the urban-type village of Zalegoshch, where the modern sports eco-park "New Legost" is located. On its territory, sports and tourist gatherings are regularly held, including the Heroes’ Path and the Power of Spirit, which attract not only local athletes, but also guests from other cities.

“Good access to such facilities is a contribution to sports, tourism, and the comfort of everyone who travels along this road,” the ministry said.
