Repair of the bridge over the Gryaznushka River in Prigorodny Ulyanovsk: readiness of 70% and asphalt timing

In the village of Prigorodny Ulyanovsk, the reconstruction of the bridge across the Gryaznushka River continues. Construction readiness of the crossing reached 70%. The main load-bearing structures have already been installed, and the next important step will be the asphalting of the roadway.

Work on the formation of the foundation of the future bridge has been almost completed at the facility. The builders strengthened the supports, mounted 18 reinforced concrete beams and poured a monolithic base, on which a road surface will later appear.

Now experts are engaged in waterproofing structures. This stage is necessary to protect the concrete from moisture, which over time can lead to the destruction of materials and reduce the service life of the structure.

In parallel, the contractor carries out reinforcement and concreteing of slopes and cones. In the future, workers will have to install deformation seams, equip entrances to the bridge and lay two layers of asphalt concrete.

The progress of the repair was checked by the head of Ulyanovsk Alexander Boldakin. Following the inspection, he instructed the contractor to complete the asphalt within a month, while weather conditions allow for road work.

During the renewal of the crossing, cars continue to move along a specially organized temporary road. It allows you to maintain transport links for the construction period.

The repair of the bridge in Prigorodny is carried out within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. After the completion of all the planned works, the traffic will be transferred to the updated structure.
