Rosaviatsiya imposed restrictions on the operation of Moscow airports

Rosaviatsiya has imposed restrictions on the reception and dispatch of flights at Moscow airports. This is reported in the materials of the department. Restrictions affected airports Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Zhukovsky. The authorities took this action for security reasons.

"The restrictions were imposed for security reasons," the statement said.

Airports are now operating in a special mode. Air traffic controllers control the airspace. Airlines are adjusting their flight schedules. Passengers are advised to check flight information before travelling to the airport.
