Rospotrebnadzor assessed the epidemic of influenza and SARS in the Tula region

In the Tula region, the epidemic situation for influenza and SARS corresponds to the seasonal level. This was reported in the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor.

There is no excess of epidemic thresholds - neither among the entire population of the region, nor in certain groups. Over the past week, 4391 cases of SARS were registered.

According to laboratory monitoring, seasonal respiratory viruses are circulating. Specialists continue to monitor the situation.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported that the Tula Rospotrebnadzor called the optimal period of vaccination against influenza from September to November. Vaccination remains one of the most effective ways to protect against the severe course of the disease and complications, and recommended to pass it before the beginning of the epidemic season.

So, in the Shchekin district already held the action “Say flu – No!”, where the vaccination was made by the head of the district administration and representatives of its leadership.
