Rospotrebnadzor: residents of the Ivanovo region most often suffer from parainfluenza

43rd week of the year, from 19 to 25 October, the incidence of SARS in the Ivanovo region remained stable and did not exceed threshold values. Since the beginning of the season, no cases of influenza have been detected in the region. Among the circulating viruses, parainfluenza pathogens are most often found, according to the regional Rospotrebnadzor.

SARS are transmitted by airborne droplets and affect the respiratory tract. At risk of severe course are children under five years old, the elderly over 65 and people with chronic diseases. Planned influenza vaccination continues. Vaccination is now the best way to protect yourself before the seasonal rise, the optimal time for it is from September to November.
