Rostov residents complained about the long wait for the bus No. 7

Residents of Rostov-on-Don complained about the work of the bus route No. 7 due to the long wait for transport. According to citizens, buses running between the Main railway station and Mozhaiskaya Street in the village of Ordzhonikidze are not enough on weekdays and weekends.

One of the passengers, Olga Sheveleva, said that on November 4 from 18:30 to 19:00 did not wait for a single bus towards the railway station. At the same time, for half an hour, two buses drove in the opposite direction, to Mozhaiskaya Street.

The appeals of residents responded to the city administration. After checking, experts confirmed that there were fewer buses on the route than planned.

The authorities reported that penalties were applied to the carrier for the detected violations. It was also instructed to strengthen control over the observance of the traffic schedule.

Route No. 7 serves the municipal enterprise Rostov Passengertrans. The carrier is already involved in litigation with the city Department of transport. The Arbitration Court is considering a claim to recover three million rubles from the enterprise for violations of the terms of the municipal contract for passenger transportation.
