Dew again in the sky: the sun eagle returned to the Sengileev mountains

The sun eagle named Rosia was again in the wild. After several weeks of recovery, the bird was released on the territory of the Sengileevsky Mountains National Park, and ornithologists will be able to follow its further journey using a special tracker.

Before returning to the natural environment, Rosya underwent rehabilitation in the city zoo. During this time, the eagle recovered and again began to fly confidently, after which experts decided that the bird is ready for independent life.

Before release on the eagle fixed device for remote observation. It will allow experts to see the movements of Rosi and assess how the bird adapts after returning to nature.

The upcoming flight will be especially interesting. Thanks to the tracker, ornithologists will be able to trace the route of the sun eagle from the Sengileev mountains to wintering places.

Now the further story of Rosi will unfold without the walls of the zoo in a natural environment, but under the remote supervision of specialists.
