Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region Rustam Dosayev visited the Krasnooktyabrsky and Sergachsky districts, which he calls his native places.
In the Krasnooktyabrsky district, he took part in the solemn opening ceremony of the monument to the Tatar Soviet writer Kavi Gibyatovich Najmi, a native of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The event was held in the Year of the Unity of Peoples, it was attended by a large delegation: Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin, Minister of Culture Natalia Sukhanova and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, head of the National Council of the World Congress of Tatars Vasil Shaykhraziev.
Rustam Dossaev called Shaykhraziev a great friend of the region and recalled joint projects in the development of Tatar culture, one of which is the Volga Sabantuy. Economic projects also connect the region with Tatarstan: close interaction between Gleb Nikitin and Rais of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov was noted. In the Sergach district, the delegation also visited several sites. Rustam Dossaev thanked the heads of districts Oleg Radaev and Rafael Ilyasov for the warm welcome and called the trip very productive, noting that many interesting ideas appeared on the site.
