During the inspection, it turned out that in the apartment of a five-storey building on Ostrovsky Street in a short period of time there were many registered residents.
Police found that the 62-year-old unemployed owner used his apartment for temporary registration of migrants. Through acquaintances, foreigners appealed to him so that he acted as the host party for money and submitted the necessary documents to the MFC for registration.
The attacker illegally legalized 12 citizens of the Central Asian country aged 20 to 45 years - 10 men and two women. In fact, they did not live in this apartment.
A criminal case was opened against the man under the article on fictitious registration of foreign citizens. He faces up to five years in prison.
