As of October 12, more than six thousand permits for earthworks at construction and reconstruction facilities, as well as in emergency excavation sites, were issued in the city. On October 12, during an operational meeting, the director of the enterprise "Technical Department of the Minsk City Executive Committee" Igor Yermolenko said, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

Work is currently underway at 69 emergency excavation sites.

- Completion of works there and restoration of improvement are regulated within ten days, Yermolenko said. In addition, 1,700 earthwork permits at construction sites are currently valid. They are related to the construction process itself, communications supply lines and the reconstruction of engineering infrastructure.

The head added that the city has a system of operational and technical accounting of underground communications.

- All utilities are connected to it, which allows you to quickly detect damage. The system can be compared with the underground cadastre of the city, Yermolenko summed up.
