From October for owners of cottages begin to operate 6 new rules
6 new rules for summer residents from october: what will now be fined and how to avoid trial.

October 2026 brought gardeners not only gold foliage, but also strict legal updates. Ignorance of these norms is now fraught with not just warnings, but real financial losses and long litigation. Check out our checklist of 6 important items.
2. Six-hundredth business is banned. The land in SNT has a strictly targeted purpose. Opening a car service, a mini-bakery or a spontaneous outlet on a garden plot is a gross violation, which is punishable by large fines.
3. Hard fire control. Garbage, foliage and branches can be burned only on specially equipped sites in compliance with all safety standards. Penalties for burn grass or fire in the wrong place, especially in dry weather, increased significantly.
4. Fire safety. Areas must be cleared of dry vegetation. Inspectors are now closely monitoring fire breaks between buildings, as well as the condition of furnaces, electrical wiring and gas equipment.
5. Debt collection through the courts. Unpaid membership dues are no longer a hangover. SNT massively recover debts in a simplified judicial procedure. Make sure to check your payments with the chairman before the end of the year to avoid unpleasant surprises.
6. Borders and fences. Disputes over boundary lines and hedge height have reached a new level of control. If your fence causes inconvenience to neighbors or climbs into their territory, the court may order you to dismantle or move the structure at your own expense.
Don't put things off until spring! Order a fresh extract from the USRN, check the documents and restore order on the site. A calm autumn is a guarantee that the next summer season will begin without nervous proceedings and sudden fines.
