Samara residents face 3 schemes of fraudsters before National Unity Day

On the eve of the holidays, scammers have activated fraudulent schemes designed to trust citizens to official symbols.

Attackers organize fake fundraisers allegedly to help veterans and orphanages. The money is illegally transferred to private bank accounts of the organizers.

In addition, criminals create sites-doubles with fictitious burning tours and blocking tickets to steal these cards.

The classic method is sending congratulatory letters containing malicious software. The expert of the platform “Moshelovka” Alexander Pozharskaya categorically prohibited to report the code from SMS to any person.

It is safest to send charitable contributions exclusively through funds entered in the register of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation. Particular attention should be paid to older relatives who most trustingly respond to messages with state attributes.

Timely briefing will help prevent financial loss and protect the savings of pensioners.
