The primacy of United Russia following the results of the first protocols is obvious, but the final figures may still change. This was told by HSE Vice President in St. Petersburg Alexander Khodachek.
After processing 18.85% of the protocols in the elections to the state Duma “United Russia” gained 57.1% of votes, the Communist party — 13.98%, LDPR — 9.33%, “New people” — 7.98%, “Fair Russia” — 5.11%.
“The numbers will change. But the primacy of United Russia is obvious. We will see how in cities with a million people voted, and, of course, as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Leningrad region, – said Khodachek.
In St. Petersburg, at the time of processing 1.25% of the protocols, the candidates of United Russia were in the lead in five single-mandate districts. In the Northern District, the CPRF candidate took the first place with 36.31% of the vote.
According to Khodak, the choice of St. Petersburgers could be influenced by the pragmatic approach of candidates to election promises. He noted that in recent years, State Duma deputies from St. Petersburg interacted with voters after the election.
“From the point of view of the interests of the city and the region, they took a consolidated position. And, perhaps, this is the greatest achievement for citizens, the expert concluded.
