The most cited in the world were two doctors of science from Kazan

Two Kazan scientists are in the list of the most cited on the planet, according to the international database Scopus. The rector of KSMU Airat Farrakhov told about it.

In the prestigious ranking there are two outstanding researchers of KSMU: Alexei Mikhailovich Petrov and Ildus Ilyasovich Akhmetov.

The rector sincerely congratulated Alexei Mikhailovich and Ildus Ilyasovich! He noted that the team is inspired by their work, dedication to science and the desire to search for new knowledge.

Alexey Petrov – Doctor of Biological Sciences, Head of the Laboratory of Lipid-dependent Regulation of the Institute of Neurosciences. Ildus Akhmetov – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Department of Genetics of Aging and Longevity.

The list of top researchers from all over Russia includes 990 scientists.
