Saratov overtook Moscow in terms of rising prices for the “pharmacy” basket

In August 2026, the average cost of a “pharmacy” basket in Saratov increased by 3.5% to 7125 rubles. This information is provided by analysts of the service Megapteka.ru.

According to the growth of the pharmacy basket, Saratov was in second place among 28 cities of the country, ahead of Moscow (+0.14% per month) and St. Petersburg (+0.27%).

Most Saratov residents spend on drugs for endocrine diseases (1529 rubles per month), contraceptives (1364.1 rubles), drugs from the heart (1043 rubles), gastrointestinal tract and liver (659 rubles), as well as drugs to support the nervous system and mental health (595.8 rubles).
