Seven schools of Dagestan participate in pilot project on implementation of course on artificial intelligence and information security

Seven schools in Dagestan are participating in a pilot project to introduce a course on artificial intelligence and information security. Testing will begin in the second quarter of the academic year in schools of Makhachkala, Kaspiysk, Buynaksk and Derbent.
The course aims to teach students how to safely and effectively use artificial intelligence technologies. After testing, the program is planned to be extended to other educational organizations.
As reported to Mirmol in the Ministry of Education of Dagestan, before the launch of the course, schools should prepare teachers. Teachers will undergo advanced training courses, seminars and methodological webinars.
From the next academic year, the course on artificial intelligence and information security will become mandatory for students in grades 5-11. This was stated by the Minister of education of Russia Sergey Kravtsov at the forum “Digital days of Innopolis”.
