The family of the deceased contractor was awarded the Order of Courage in the Ryazan region

The administration of the Mikhailovsky district held a solemn ceremony of transferring the state award to the family of the deceased soldier. The mother of contractor Gleb Buyankin, Vera Mikhailovna, was awarded the Order of Courage, which her son was awarded posthumously for courage in the performance of military duty. Gleb Buyankin died while performing a combat mission. The high award was given to the family by the first deputy head of the district administration for economy Natalia Yakunina and military commissar Dmitry Lantsov. To support the mother came her second son, also in military service, and other relatives. The authorities expressed their sincere condolences and offered the hero’s family all the necessary assistance.

Gleb Buyankin was a graduate of the Mikhailovsky Technical School named after Anatoly Merzlov. According to his mother, he was an active, fair and sympathetic person who always supported his brothers.

Vera Mikhailovna shared the details of the tragedy. On that fateful day, the son and his colleagues walked 17 kilometers on a combat mission. Gleb walked in front. And he only managed to scream, warn the guys, and mortar fire began.
