Sergey Nikolaev: military service under the contract is heroism for the benefit of his country

“Contracted military service is heroism for the good of our country! I urge you to support our guys, defenders and join yours! Let me remind you that Smolyans, who decided to devote themselves to service under contract in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, receive cash allowances and have the right to all kinds of benefits, said Sergey Nikolaev, head of the Demidov District.

When concluding a contract for military service in the Smolensk region, a one-time payment of 2.5 million rubles is provided. Also, citizens who have signed a contract are able to write off debts on loans up to 10 million rubles.

It has also become easier to obtain a certificate stating that a serviceman is participating or participated in a special military operation. Now this can be done at the State Services or in any branch of the MFC of the Smolensk region, having only a passport and SNILS. The term of the service is 4 working days (the term can be extended by 30 calendar days, if you need to clarify the information).

It should be noted that Governor Vasily Anokhin made changes to the decree on measures to support family members of Smolensk participants of the SVO. Now they can be used by the families of employees of a number of law enforcement agencies who took part or continue to participate in a special military operation, as well as the families of members of the SVO from private military companies (if there is a certificate of a veteran of hostilities issued during the SVO). In total, 58 social support measures are in place in the region for SVO participants and their families. Family support is provided indefinitely.

A special platform “Za Dobro” is functioning for relatives of all SVO participants, a social discount card “Za Dobro” has been introduced. In the Smolensk region, on behalf of the President of Russia, a regional branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation was also opened (Smolensk, 13 Klovskaya St.), whose specialists are engaged in supporting veterans of the SVO and their families in terms of personal support on all emerging issues.

Also in the region continues the selection of candidates for UAV troops. When concluding the contract, training is provided for working with various types of unmanned systems, as well as monetary allowance. Volunteers between the ages of 18 and 45 can enter the service.
