Sergey Sobyanin spoke about the results of improvement in the North-East of Moscow

The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in the publication in his official channel on the domestic platform MAX spoke about the results of improvement in the North-East of the Russian capital.

As the mayor noted, last year large-scale improvement projects were implemented in the northeast of Moscow. The mayor drew attention to the fact that the work was carried out, in particular, in South Medvedkov, Otradny and Babushkinsky districts. Sobyanin pointed out that in 2026, in turn, the Ethnographic Village of Bibirevo was updated, which is a unique green area with an area of more than 10 hectares.

According to the head of the Russian capital, the project was based on a harmonious combination of modern comfort and traditions of Russian architecture. The mayor said that at the entrance visitors are greeted by a fairy-tale arch with carved elements symbolizing the characters of Slavic mythology, and in the evening the park became much more comfortable thanks to the modern lighting system.

Sobyanin added that the stage and amphitheater were updated for the holidays. In addition, he revealed that during the walk, citizens and guests of the capital can now relax on new carved benches and park swings, and at the water itself - on sun loungers.

The mayor of Moscow stressed that special attention was paid to children, because four playgrounds were updated for them at once. The publication of the mayor says that for the kids were made developing areas with safe structures and trampolines, while older children can train agility on the obstacle course and explore multi-level play complexes with vertical and horizontal transitions, elements for climbing and slides.

The head of the capital continued that fans of outdoor activities and sports will appreciate the new workout zones with simulators, table tennis tables and a basketball court. He also noted that the territory was further greened, and new trees were planted on it and flower beds with perennial plants were laid.

“As a result, thousands of residents of the district received a high-quality modern park next to the house,” Sergey Sobyanin concluded.

Earlier, the capital mayor said that the territory near the highway Enthusiasts made more comfortable and modern. He revealed that power lines with a length of more than 40 kilometers were removed underground, an additional drainage system was laid, and the geometry of the streets was changed in order to optimize pedestrian and traffic flows in a number of areas.

In addition, as the mayor noted, there also updated the pavement and roadway — the total area of work is more than 450 thousand square meters. 580 modern energy-saving lights and street floor lamps were installed, and 42 contrast lighting supports were installed at pedestrian crossings, which make the zebra and pedestrians more visible on it.
