Serpukhov road workers put in order Progona street

Repairs are carried out point-by-point, with an emphasis on the quality of the coating and durability of the result: the task of utilities is not just to close the pits, but to form a strong and flat canvas that can withstand seasonal loads and intensive traffic.

The repair technology is built in stages. The first step was to cut square fragments of asphalt in the most pronounced potholes – this approach allows you to completely remove the damaged layer and eliminate the risk of further destruction of the coating around the repaired site. The recovered waste was promptly removed for disposal, so as not to interfere with the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

The next step is laying a new asphalt. For this, the front loader Amkodor is involved: the equipment takes hot asphalt from the dump truck and delivers it directly to the place of work. Further, road workers enter the case: they distribute the material on the prepared base with shovels, carefully align the layer and compact it with a vibroplite.

On October 12, the efforts of utilities were focused not only on Progona Street. At the request of residents, received through the portal “Dobrodel”, similar works are conducted at two more addresses: on Khimikov Street, house No. 41, and on Red Partisans Street, house No. 18. Feedback from citizens helps to form priority areas of improvement and promptly respond to problem areas.

According to the Improvement Plant, during the working day road workers spent 5.5 tons of hot asphalt and restored 40 square meters of roadway. These figures reflect the scale of the day-to-day work and confirm that city services are consistently meeting the challenges of keeping the street network up to date.
