North Ossetia will allocate more than 340 million rubles for the development of agriculture

The head of RSO-Alania Sergey Menyailo said that by the end of the year more than 340 million rubles will be spent on the development of the agro-industrial complex of the republic. The funds will be used to support farmers and expand production.

Thanks to state support, more than 300 hectares of gardens with fruit crops have already been laid in the republic. Farmers also received funds for the development of livestock, fish farming and milk production.

Agriculture remains one of the key areas of the economy of North Ossetia. The authorities intend to continue supporting farmers who expand farms, create jobs and produce quality products.

Earlier it was reported that in North Ossetia began sowing winter crops on an area of 70 thousand hectares.
