On the evening of October 10, a natural phenomenon – the “northern lights” – was noticed in Tatarstan. A rare atmospheric phenomenon was observed in Kukmore, Alkeevsky, Laishevsky districts, as well as in the vicinity of Innopolis and Chistopol. Eyewitnesses began to post photos in social networks., writes IA "Tatar-inform".

According to the laboratory of solar astronomy IKI RAS, over Russia observed auroras of the highest intensity. This is a natural and optical phenomenon, during which the glow of the upper atmosphere occurs. It occurs when the magnetic field of the Earth interacts with charged particles of the solar wind.
