From September 28 to October 1, kiosks were demolished on Lenin Avenue near the house No. 55 and on Heroes-North Seamen Avenue near the house No. 71. Also removed shopping pavilions on the street Oktyabrskaya at the house No. 29/2, on the street Chelyuskintsev at the house No. 20, Starostin street at the house No. 8 and on the street Captain Ponomarev at the house No. 14. Fragments of all six objects were destroyed.
Interestingly, Murmansk, along with the dismantling of illegal kiosks and pavilions, continues to review places for non-stationary trade. The scheme of placement of such facilities in 2026 has been changed several times - in January, February, April, May, June and September, according to information from the website of the city administration. The administration made the latest changes on September 28, the same day two illegal stalls began to be demolished in the city.
Earlier, “MK in Murmansk” said that the stalls in Murmansk will become dark gray and woody according to the new requirements.
