Pskov students study aviation professions on excursions in the new airport terminal

Students of the 8th grade of school No. 13 visited the new arrival terminal of the Pskov airport named after Princess Olga as part of a career guidance tour. The event was organized by the Youth Personnel Center within the framework of the presidential national project “Personnel”.

Governor of the Pskov region Mikhail Vedernikov noted that modern infrastructure is now familiar not only to passengers, but also to teenagers. The guys saw the work of the airport from the inside: the preparation of aircraft for departure, the activities of ground services, engineers and rescuers.

Such excursions help to understand that behind each flight there is a large team of specialists, on whom the safety and comfort of passengers depend. It is important to give schoolchildren the opportunity to see professions in a real environment, ask questions and imagine their future path, the head of the region emphasized.
