Schoolchildren Serpukhov looked into the everyday life of rescuers
Students of GAPOU MO “Government College” for students of Serpukhov schools conducted professional tests that allowed the children to touch the profession of a rescuer and firefighter in practice.

The initiators and main guides to the world of extreme service were students of the Department of Emergency Protection: they took the role of mentors, building training as a live dialogue.
The central challenge was putting on a firefighter's combat clothing - an operation where every second counts. Under the careful supervision of undergraduates, students gradually mastered the equipment algorithm, learned to combine speed with impeccable accuracy. Behind the external simplicity of movements, there was a strict discipline: the guys quickly realized that in real conditions any mistake can be expensive, and a verified sequence of actions is the foundation of safety and efficiency.
No less intense and significant was the first aid unit. Students mentors were not limited to theory: they clearly demonstrated each technique, disassembled typical errors and immediately gave students the opportunity to work out skills. This approach allowed the participants not just to remember the sequence of steps, but to feel the burden of responsibility that falls on the shoulders of a specialist when human life depends on his composure and accuracy.
The special value of the meeting was given to the personal stories of future rescuers. Students shared stories from training and volunteer practice, explained the challenges faced by protection specialists in emergency situations, and emphasized that the profession rests on three pillars – endurance, well-coordinated teamwork and constant development of skills. For schoolchildren, these revelations became a kind of “X-ray” of the profession: they were able to see not a heroic gloss, but everyday life – with tension, fatigue and a huge inner concentration.
The event was part of preparations for the Single Open Day, which will be held on October 17 in all buildings of the college.
