At the Genic District school, police told students about the risks of engaging in fraudulent schemes through bank cards and accounts. This was reported in the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Kherson region.
The interview was conducted by inspectors on juvenile affairs of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia “Genic”. They explained the role of droppers in the withdrawal of money stolen by fraudsters.
Separately disassembled proposals to issue a card in your name for someone else's use or provide details for a small fee. According to police officers, participation in such dubious schemes can lead to criminal liability.
Students were advised not to carry out the financial errands of strangers, regardless of who they were. The inspectors also reminded that outsiders cannot report bank card data and SMS codes.
Police responded to questions from students and advised them to discuss suspicious offers with parents or teachers. This applies to both online communication and offline situations.
