School ideas in the Yaroslavl region can now cost two million

According to Governor Mikhail Evraev, the region is expanding the possibilities of school initiative budgeting.

If the cost of the project exceeds the regional limit of one million rubles, then the city budget can add the same amount. This year, for example, in Yaroslavl, three of the six school projects have already received from 200 thousand rubles to one million municipal funds.

Over the past five years, about 170 such projects have already been implemented in the region, 43 of them have been completed this year. So, thanks to the ideas of students, the lobby of the first floor in the Sretensky education center of the Rybinsk district was updated. They installed new furniture, an interactive panel and information stands dedicated to the graduate of the institution, army general and twice Hero of the Soviet Union Pavel Batov.

For schoolchildren, participation in proactive budgeting is an opportunity not only to propose an idea, but also to go all the way from the idea to its implementation.
