School Museum from Kudrovo won 300 thousand rubles for development
The museum in Kudrovo will receive 300 thousand rubles for its development. The exposition of the Kudrovo Education Center, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, took the honorable second place in the museum competition on the theme “Military-historical dioramas: history in detail”. The exposition of the Kudrovo Education Center, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the fascist blockade, took the honorable second place in the museum competition on the theme “Military-historical dioramas: history in detail”. This was reported in the press service of the administration of the Leningrad region.
The Center for Education received the award in the category “Best City Museum” among the institutions of the North-Western Federal District. The institution won a grant in the amount of 300 thousand rubles, which can be used to modernize the museum exposition, purchase new technical means and implement fresh initiatives in the field of patriotic education.
More than 1,200 schools from 75 regions took part in the competition. Of these, 140 museums from 73 subjects passed to the federal stage. According to Olga Zanko, Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of Civil Society, this is a well-deserved award for the work of schoolchildren, teachers and everyone who contributed to the creation of the exhibition.
“Preparation of such a project requires both a creative approach and a deep interest in history, its knowledge, attentive attitude to facts and respect for the memory of generations,” said Olga Zanko.
She also announced that the School Museum of Local History of the Pervomaysk Education Center from the village of Pervomayskoe became one of the winners of the competition.
