Shuvaev discussed the development of the region with the head of the Federal Road Agency

Governor of the Belgorod region Alexander Shuvaev discussed the development of the region with the head of the Federal Road Agency Roman Novikov. Belgorod region plans to maintain the volume of road repairs. Work in the region is carried out on the national project “Infrastructure for life” and on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In 2026, 23.1 billion rubles were allocated for this purpose. Of these, 5.2 billion rubles is federal budget money. In total, the region plans to build and repair 334.3 km of roads.

At the initiative of the region, the Belgorod, Kursk and Bryansk regions will receive additional money from the federal budget for infrastructure development. The idea was supported by the Russian government.

Shuvaev and Novikov discussed Belgorod region’s initiative to open road classes. For the first time in Russia, they appeared on the basis of school No. 48 of Belgorod and My School in Repnoe village. Their experience became the basis for the country's 12 road classes.
