Specialists of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy IKI RAS report that from 20 hours Moscow time on Earth recorded a powerful geomagnetic disturbance.
The magnetic storm level is G3. Such a storm was last recorded in July 2026. Earlier, experts told about three clouds of plasma released by the Sun. It is with their approach to the planet that the geomagnetic disturbance is associated.
According to the forecast of the laboratory, the perturbation of the geomagnetic field can persist for about another day.
