Units of special operations forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus were replenished with 19 new fuel tankers ATZ-6 and ATZ-12, the Ministry of Defense reports.

The equipment was presented by the Deputy Minister of Defense for the rear - Chief of the rear of the Armed Forces Major General Alexander Mosolov. All vehicles were manufactured by Belarusian enterprises as part of the planned re-equipment of troops.
New tankers surpass their predecessors in maneuverability, cross-country and speed. Tanks are divided into isolated sections, which allows the simultaneous transport and delivery of diesel fuel and gasoline. In the near future, the machines will be tested at polygons when performing combat training tasks.
- It is gratifying that on the eve of the holiday – National Unity Day – for the first time in the history of the sovereign Republic of Belarus, we received a batch of our domestic refuelers, said Major General Alexander Mosolov. A lot of joint work was carried out between the Ministry of Defense and the industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus: three years ago we received the first copies for the experiment, and this experiment was successfully completed. We have improved some aspects, and today we received a large batch from the domestic manufacturer.
