“Sinara” sued almost 30 million rubles from “Rostovzhdanproekt”

The company "Sinara-City Transport Solutions of Rostov-on-Don" through the court recovered from "Rostov CitizenProject" almost 30 million rubles. The relevant decision was made by the Moscow Arbitration Court.

As follows from the materials of the case, Rostov zhitproekt had to conduct survey work for the construction of a high-speed tram and receive a positive conclusion of the state examination. The cost of the contract was 42 million rubles, of which 30 million “Sinara” transferred as an advance.

The contractor had to complete the work by August 29, 2025. However, by the time of the litigation, the necessary conclusions of the examinations were not received, the documentation was not corrected, and the results of the work were not transferred to the customer.

In March 2026, Sinara unilaterally terminated the contract due to a violation of deadlines. After that, the company appealed to the court with a demand to return the transferred funds.

The arbitral tribunal granted the claim in full. From "Rostovzhandrproekt" decided to recover 29 490 067 rubles 82 kopecks of unjust enrichment, as well as 519 901 rubles of state duty. The decision may be appealed to the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal.

The concession agreement on the construction of a high-speed tram in Rostov was concluded in 2023. The project provided for the laying of tracks in the Leventsovo microdistrict with its subsequent connection with the center and the northern part of the city. However, in 2026, the city suspended the agreement due to the increase in the cost of the project.
