Burger King has suspended the activities of two restaurants in Vladivostok after the appearance on the Internet of scandalous video, allegedly filmed by employees in the kitchen of one of the points. Representatives of the catering service called what was happening on the record unacceptable and apologized to visitors, the press service of the company reported.
The incident is associated with a restaurant on Semenovskaya street, 12 in the shopping center "Rodina". In the circulated footage, people, allegedly employees of the institution, violate sanitary standards and improperly treat food. The network said that such behavior directly contradicts the requirements of safety, hygiene and quality.
After the publication of the video, Burger King stopped supplying products to the franchisee who managed establishments at Semenovskaya and Svetlanskaya, 56. The partner was also disconnected from corporate systems, as a result of which both points lost the opportunity to continue sales under the network brand.
The company intends to finally terminate relations with the franchisee and has already started the relevant legal procedures. Burger King has no plans to resume cooperation with this partner, stressing that all restaurants operating under the brand must comply with uniform standards of service and safety.
