Investigators of the Investigative Committee tell Tuva schoolchildren about legal responsibility and work of the department

In the Republic of Tyva, the “Week of Legal Knowledge” continues – within its framework, employees of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region conduct preventive meetings in schools and secondary specialized educational institutions. The purpose of the events is to increase the legal literacy of young people, to form an understanding of responsibility for their actions and to tell about the measures of prevention of offenses.

According to the action plan, heads and investigators of territorial departments go to educational institutions throughout the republic. So, today, the senior investigator of the Kaa-Khem Interdistrict Investigation Department Alimaa Opul-ool held a meeting with students of high school No. 3 in the village of Kaa-Khem, Kyzyl district.

During the conversation with schoolchildren, the IC employee explained in detail the types of legal responsibility of minors: administrative, civil and criminal. Particular attention was paid to the responsibility for crimes against life and health, sexual freedom, as well as against property.

In addition, Alimaa Opul-ool told the children about the activities of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the specifics of the investigator’s work and the daily tasks of the department. For a better understanding of the topic, she gave examples from her own investigative practice - they helped to clearly show how legal norms work in real situations. Preventive measures within the framework of the Week of Legal Knowledge will continue: meetings with investigators are planned in different municipalities of the republic.
