Minsk Employment Service employs 13,000 people in January-September
In the bodies on labor, employment and social protection of the Belarusian capital in January-September of this year for assistance in employment appealed 14.1 thousand people.

In January-September of this year, 14.1 thousand people applied to the bodies for labor, employment and social protection of the Belarusian capital for assistance in employment, 13 thousand people were employed. This was reported by sb.by in the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The committee noted:
- As part of the implementation of a set of measures of the State program “Balanced labor market” for 2026-2030, 95 percent of citizens who applied to the employment service were involved in active programs to promote employment. Assistance was provided in finding employment for vacant jobs declared on the portal of the state employment service by employers of all forms of ownership, employment was provided in the form of paid temporary jobs. Training of non-working citizens in demand on the labor market professions has been organized. Financial support was provided in the form of a grant for the organization of individual entrepreneurial activities.
In the declared on the portal of the state employment service by employers of the city, the need for vacancies in working professions was 63 percent, including more than 14 percent for unskilled labor. The main need for personnel is formed by organizations of trade (17.8 per cent), industry (13.8 per cent), construction (13.5 per cent), transport (10.8 per cent), education (9.7 per cent), health and social services (6.8 per cent).
To date, in Minsk, the demand for workers is dominated by the professions of industry (storage worker, picker, baker, mechanic locksmith, repairman, turner, stower-packer, seamstress, electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment), trade and catering (controller-cashier, kitchen worker, dishwasher, waiter, cook, salesman, member of the brigade of a quick-service object), construction profile (concreteer, roofer, painter, car repairman, car repairman, construction worker, car repairman, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, construction worker, etc.
