The death of actor Terentyev from an ulcer forced doctors to remind about the dangerous symptoms

The reason for the death of 44-year-old actor from St. Petersburg Andrey Terentyev, known for the film “We are from the future” and the TV series “Filin” and “First Department”, was internal bleeding against the background of an ulcer. His widow Svetlana Terentyeva said that the artist died due to severe blood loss. About the danger of such a condition and symptoms that require immediate medical attention, said dietitian Elena Solomatina in an interview with 360.ru.

According to the specialist, perforated ulcer is a serious threat to life, as it can lead to peritonitis, sepsis and pain shock. Among the possible risk factors, the doctor called the presence of the bacterium Helicobacter pylori, prolonged stress and uncontrolled intake of painkillers.

The main alarming signs are sharp abdominal pain, pale skin, cold sweat, rapid heartbeat and tension of the abdominal muscles. Vomiting, bloating and fever may also occur. In some cases, the symptoms are less pronounced, which makes it difficult to seek help in a timely manner.

The doctor urged not to try to cope with this condition on their own and immediately seek medical help. If you suspect perforation of an ulcer, you must call an ambulance. Before the arrival of doctors, you should not eat, drink, wash the stomach or take painkillers yourself.
