Smolensk customs brought to the state income 58 million rubles
For nine months of 2026 Smolensk customs opened 2813 cases of administrative offences

In the first nine months of 2026, the Smolensk Customs opened 2,813 cases of administrative offences. During this period, 823 sentencing orders were issued, more than 56% of which were warnings.
The total amount of sentences has reached 66.9 million rubles. The amount of penalties exceeded 58.8 million rubles. In addition, goods and vehicles worth over 8.1 million rubles were confiscated.
Most often, Smolensk customs officers identified violations associated with the indication of false information when declaring goods. Under part 2 of article 16.2 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation, 1247 cases were initiated.
Another 629 cases were initiated under Article 19.7.13 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for late submission to the customs authority of the statistical form of accounting for the movement of goods. Under Article 15.25 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for violation of currency legislation and acts of currency regulation bodies, 404 cases were initiated.
The largest number of administrative cases was issued by departments of inspection of activities of persons — 1253. The Department of Customs Statistics opened 550 cases, and the Department of Prohibitions, Restrictions and Commodity Nomenclature 413.
Among customs posts, the leader in the number of cases opened was the Tver Post, which accounted for 104 administrative proceedings. Krasninsky customs post initiated 79 cases, Stabninsky – 73.
