Smolensk Regardie during routine inspections revealed violations and seized weapons

In the Smolensk region, employees of the regional department of Regardie summed up the work of the licensing and permitting units over the past week. During this time, experts conducted 111 inspections, identified 10 violations and seized 10 weapons. Five more units were handed over voluntarily.

During the inspections, Rosgvardiya employees monitored the observance by the owners of weapons of its storage rules and other legal requirements. As a result of the measures, weapons were seized in ten cases.

Five weapons voluntarily transferred by citizens were accepted in accordance with the established procedure. This measure prevents its illegal storage and possible use.

In addition, the specialists of the divisions accepted and considered 461 applications related to licensing and licensing activities.

The regional department of Regardie noted that the work of units is aimed not only at identifying, but also at preventing violations. An important part of the activity remains advising citizens and explaining the requirements of the legislation to the owners of weapons.

Rosgvardeytsy reminded of the need to comply with the rules of storage of weapons, to issue and renew permits in a timely manner, as well as immediately report their loss or theft.
