A magistrate in Moscow fined 10 thousand rubles to a resident of the capital for failure to comply with the instructions of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department in the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions.
We are talking about a land plot of 165.9 hectares, located in the Vyazem municipal district of the Smolensk region. In November 2025, the specialists of the department found that the land is not used for its intended purpose and is heavily overgrown with weeds and shrub vegetation. In this regard, the owner was issued an order to eliminate violations.
However, a re-examination in July 2026 revealed that the prescription was not fulfilled, and the site is still overgrown. On the fact of non-fulfilment of a legal requirement, a protocol was drawn up. The court found the citizen guilty under part 25 of article 19.5 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation and appointed her an administrative penalty in the form of a fine.
In connection with this incident, the Ministry recalls that owners and tenants are obliged to use agricultural land strictly for its intended purpose, and legal regulations of supervisory authorities must be fulfilled within the prescribed time limits.
