Social Fund checks pension documents of 20 thousand residents of Ivanovo region in advance

The branch of the Social Fund of Russia in the Ivanovo region has begun an early check of pension documents of residents who will retire in 2027-2028. Now the work includes information about 20 thousand people.

Specialists check the length of service and other data necessary for the appointment of an insurance pension. If any information is lacking, the foundation sends inquiries to former employers and archives.

Such a check is recommended about two years before reaching retirement age. You can apply through the employer, if he has an agreement with the FIU on electronic interaction, or independently in the client service of the Fund.

Upon personal application, a passport and work book will be required. Depending on the situation, you may need a military card, educational documents, a marriage certificate when changing your name, birth documents and other papers that affect pension rights.

In 2026, the old-age insurance pension is appointed upon reaching 59 years of age by women born in 1967 and 64 years by men born in 1962. In addition to age, a minimum of 15 years of insurance experience and 30 pension coefficients are required.

For some categories of citizens, early retirement is provided. In particular, this applies to teachers, medical workers and artists who have developed a special experience in 2022.
