Sochi and Tuapse will receive new buses on gas engine fuel

In 2026, Sochi and Tuapse fleets plan to replenish with new buses running on gas engine fuel. In total, 144 cars will be purchased for the municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory within the framework of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, the regional administration reported.

The new transport will be domestically produced. Buses are equipped with air conditioning, electronic scoreboards, cashless payment systems and video surveillance. The design provides a low floor and the possibility of comfortable travel for passengers with limited mobility and parents with children.

The delivery of buses to Sochi, Anapa and Tuapse is planned to be completed before the end of 2026. After acceptance and maintenance, the cars will enter the city routes.

According to the regional authorities, now in 22 municipalities of Kuban, about 1.1 thousand buses on gas engine fuel are operated. More than 40 gas filling stations operate in the region, including in Sochi.

Earlier it was reported that about fifty flights are delayed at the resort airport.
